Welcome to Everyday Sunset, Original Fine Art Sunset Paintings inspired by the natural colors and magnificent variety of cloud formations and light present in fleeting moments each day. The artist manages to capture the essence of those moments with awe and reverence. It is up to you to savor the sunset "in" your environment to be inspired, to relax, to remember intimate times while gazing at the sunset. In our busy lives the sunset continues to be an event that doesn't always get our attention, it has for this artist to magnify it, to celebrate it and to share it with you.

"Sky Color at the Cathedral of the Pines"

"Sky Color at the Cathedral of the Pines"
Mount Manadnock from Keene NH

I was really really inspired at the location and this is the second sunset I have done there and will probably do more.  I attended a GALA concert, a trio at sunset, it would inspire me still more and I was able to complete this painting with what I got from my presence there.

This painting was included in the Academic Artist Association 60th Anniversary Invitational Exhibiton at the Michele and Donald D'Amour Museum of Fine Arts Springfield, MA from September 21
through October 24 2010
The Invitational Committee at Academic Artist went through the entire award archives over the last 60 years and invited live artists that were either Grand Prize or Honor Award Recipients.
