Welcome to Everyday Sunset, Original Fine Art Sunset Paintings inspired by the natural colors and magnificent variety of cloud formations and light present in fleeting moments each day. The artist manages to capture the essence of those moments with awe and reverence. It is up to you to savor the sunset "in" your environment to be inspired, to relax, to remember intimate times while gazing at the sunset. In our busy lives the sunset continues to be an event that doesn't always get our attention, it has for this artist to magnify it, to celebrate it and to share it with you.

Dusk at Mount Monadnock
"Dusk at Mt. Monadnock"
oils on canvas 18 x 24"
I was inspired in August at this magnificent spot in NH and
painted it then and took pictures to inspire me further throughout
I'm a career artist since 1973, studied at the Art Institute of Boston and with Charlotte Wharton and Daniel Greene.
I went to Russia to culturally exchange with artists there in group exhibits, I've shown my work in New York City, Mystic Seaport, Cape Cod, Portland and Ogunquit ME, the Springfield Museum of Fine Art, the Worcester Art Museum and the Fitchburg Art Museum. I have had solo shows on Newbury St., on Martha's Vineyard, in Rockport and am an artist member of the Rockport Art Assn., the Academic Artist Assn., the Northshore Art Assn and have awards such as the Emile A Gruppe Award from Gloucester and many others. My work is in private corporate and public collections near and far. My most satisfying accomplishment remains to be the installation of my original biblical paintings in church venues that honor God.
Keep going, to older posts there is an account of each sunset done in 2010. None can compare to the other, each has it's own significance, just ordinary everyday sunsets, extrodinary. I get to recreate them, what an honor!
